This depends on multiple factors. Moving to a neighboring state would take much less time, than moving across the country. It takes a longer time for all of your items to reach their destination. What’s the price of same-day local piano moves?
We need to take into consider the type of piano you wish to move. For example, pianos like grand or baby grand pianos need to have their legs disassembled and re-assembled, so the whole moving process will take longer time to complete. Fill in our survey or call us to get your estimate!
Can I somehow prepare for an urgent residential move?
If you scheduled a move a few days ahead you can prepare some items beforehand. First of all, it’s recommended to disconnect and empty your fridge and freezer at least 24 hours before moving, so they can defrost fully. On top of that, you can check all other appliances and make sure they’re empty and drained. Finally, empty out all the drawers and ensure the furniture (wardrobe, bookshelves) is emptied too!
